Welcome to Spellwiz. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Spellwiz website, app, and associated services (“Service”). By accessing or using Spellwiz, whether through a school subscription or home access, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Definitions

  • “Spellwiz” refers to the platform, software, and services provided by Searsol Limited.
  • “Users” include school administrators, teachers, students, parents, and guardians who use the platform.
  • “Schools” refers to educational institutions that purchase or access Spellwiz licences for classroom use.
  • “Home Access” means access provided to individuals or families for non-school use.

 

2. Licence of Use

2.1 School Access

  • Schools are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Spellwiz for educational purposes within the institution.
  • Each student must be registered under a valid school licence.
  • Schools are responsible for managing user accounts and ensuring students access content appropriate to their level.

 

2.2 Home Access

  • Home users are granted an individual licence for non-commercial, private educational use.
  • Each account is limited to the registered user or their immediate family and cannot be shared beyond the household.

 

3. User Responsibilities

  • Users agree to provide accurate information during registration.
  • Users must keep their login credentials confidential and not share them.
  • Schools must ensure students’ data is protected and used in accordance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
  • Users must not use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

 

4. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Spellwiz collects limited personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  • All data is stored securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR where applicable).
  • Schools are responsible for obtaining necessary parental/guardian consents for student data.

 

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, design, and materials on Spellwiz are the intellectual property of Searsol Limited.
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

 

6. Payment and Subscriptions

  • Schools and home users may purchase subscriptions as outlined on our pricing page.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • No refunds will be issued for partially used subscription periods unless required by law.

 

7. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.
  • Schools and home users may cancel their subscriptions at any time through the account settings.

 

8. Availability and Updates

  • We strive to keep Spellwiz available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Updates may be made to improve functionality or security; users agree to accept such updates.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Spellwiz is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet all educational needs.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Searsol Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

 

10. Modifications to the Terms

  • We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on the website.
  • Continued use of the Service after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
